Healing Process
Healing from organizational trauma is a process, and there are steps and tools of effective interventions. In the case of a devastating traumatic event, for an organization to heal and avoid long-term traumatization the following must be addressed:
- Ensure stability, safety, and containment
- Name the trauma and normalize experience
- Integrate the trauma in affirming and meaningful ways
- Move forward
