​Healing Process

Healing from organizational trauma is a process, and there are steps and tools of effective interventions. In the case of a devastating traumatic event, for an organization to heal and avoid long-term traumatization the following must be addressed:​

  • Ensure stability, safety, and containment
  • Name the trauma and normalize experience
  • Integrate the trauma in affirming and meaningful ways
  • Move forward
